LUCY ASHTON
UNITED KINGDOM – PROJECT MANAGER AT THE BRITISH ART GALLERY, CURATOR, AND PRODUCER
Lucy Ashton is a London-based curator and producer with a decade of experience collaborating with international artists and institutions. Currently, she oversees the new exhibition showcasing 500 years of British art at the British Art Gallery and is curating a series of digital and design commissions to be displayed at the Serpentine Gallery in London and the Beyeler Foundation in Basel.
Lucy has produced contemporary commissions for notable events such as the Venice Biennale, the Sydney Biennale, the Taipei Biennial, the Folkestone Triennial, and the Rolls Royce Art Program. She has also developed exhibitions for Yale University in the USA, as well as the Belvedere and Albertina museums in Vienna, the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, and the UBS Art Collection.
